happy feet

My kids go through socks like crazy. They are so dirty and gray from the shoes and dirt that the poor white socks don't have a chance.

Luckily I found these very cute colorful character socks for only $1 in the dollar section at the front of the store!!

coupons

Did you know that you can go online and print out a ton of Target coupons all in different store categories?? I didn't!

knight rider

The Kid had a 'knight' themed birthday - I had picked up some shields at Michael's, but was reluctant to pay $5 for a sword to go with it. Just so happens, I found these foam axes in the DOLLAR SECTION!

Of course two days later they had foam swords, but something about the axes cracked me up - they just seemed very violent...yet harmless. For a buck - it made for great party favors!

If the glove don't fit, you must acquit

I saw these Batman gloves for $2.78 on clearance. I figured I could spare the $2 since I returned most of the kid's Christmas toys and didn't tell them. Ha - I'm mom of the year.

I knew these gloves would get used 'cause the Baby dresses up like Batman every day. Every. Day. I'm not kidding. There are homemade masks, capes, utility belts - that's in addition to his daily Batman shirt and Batman underwear. It never ends, I tell you.

Now he has these odd, magic hobo Bat-gloves. He literally SCREAMED when he saw them, so I guess they'll be put to use with the rest of the daily Bat-outfit.

30% off Toys

I hit the sale last year and did most of my Christmas shopping in January. It's on again but I think I'm catching the tail end of it. It was a bit of a search to find stuff for my girls. I got a My Little Pony set for $3.44, a Matchbox set for $6.48, a Pictureka puzzle for $3.48 and a Littlest Pet Shop Mall Madness game for $12.48. I LOVE having Christmas done by Jan!

Dark knight

I stopped by the holiday section just to see what was left and lo and behold there was the 90% off sign. Clearly all the good stuff would be gone, right? WRONG.

I found Batman wrapping paper! As you know, the Baby is a HUGE Batman fan, so this was a great find. Granted you can see there's green and red, but you'd be hard pressed to say that this couldn't be birthday wrap, right? RIGHT??

So I took a roll (it's large 70 sq ft!) and marched on over to the price check:

30 cents!?! Heck yeah!

Truly, Batman is the gift that keeps on giving.
