Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?

Halloween is here. So the retailers tell me anyway. The Kid has already claimed Indiana Jones as his birthday party theme. That's not til January. If you know me and birthday parties, well, let's just say I tend to choose the side of excess. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.

This new found love of Indie means one thing - "I want to be Indie for Halloween!!" I can hear it now. Which is weird since he's never even seen the movies or gone on the ride. In any case, Target is there for me as always, with a full Indiana Jones costume:Huh. Jacket with attached shirt. What. They should make suits for men like this. There is even a "Mutt" costume:
Good lord. Does it come with a car to crash in in a drunken stupor as well? Looks more like Kinicke to me.

The one cool thing I saw which is totally useless is this Indie trick or treat bag. Hot damn, that's a pretty little handy thing for more than just candy. And at only $5.99, heck, it's a steal.
I haven't shown all of this to the Kid yet. While he is in full Indie mode now, who knows, it's only August, things could change before October 31st.

pencil me in

I am usually a Crayola loyalist. But I needed a bunch of these for a kid's craft project and at 62 cents a piece, I couldn't pass them up.
